When I stepped into Simone, Le Resto, I was instantly enveloped in a warm and inviting ambiance. The cozy dining area has an open kitchen, which I absolutely adore. It’s like a little window into the kitchen, where you can watch the chefs at work and feel like you’re part of the team. And the best part? You can even chat with them while you eat! The decor is minimalist and yet cozy, with a tree-shaded terrace that’s perfect for both lunch and dinner. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a delicious meal.

Cuisine

Simone, Le Resto’s menu is a culinary journey through modern French flavors, showcasing the freshest, most seasonal ingredients. You can expect a mouthwatering array of dishes that will absolutely tantalize your taste buds!  To start, I was drawn to the Portobello Mushrooms, grilled to perfection in sesame oil and complemented by a velvety artichoke purée and a delicate miso sauce. For my main course, I went for the Veal Sweetbreads, which were simply divine. Tender and glazed in their own delectable sauce, and were served with out of this world black truffle mashed potatoes. I ended the night with a heavenly Panne Cotta made with Corsican clementines and topped with a creamy bourbon mousse. It was the perfect dessert to end the evening!

Wine lovers, rejoice! Simone, Le Resto is all about wine. They’ve got a carefully picked list of wines from independent producers, so you’ll find something totally different every time. The team at Simone, Le Resto were super friendly and knowledgeable. From the moment I stepped inside, they greeted me with a warm ‘bonsoir’ and were always ready to lend a hand. They gave me some fantastic wine recommendations and made me feel like at home.
